SWIM WITH HEIDI
Confidence starts with a splash!
How does enrollment work?
On the designated “sign up date” my calendar will become open and you will click BOOK NOW to reserve your swim lesson slots.
Enrollment on the designated date is highly recommended as slots fill very quickly. If you are a late comer to my schedule, don’t worry! I always have a running waitlist and somehow additional slots seem to open up.
What ages do you teach?
I teach infants to adults! Infant age to 2 years old is a great time for water introduction and SO many safety skills can be incorporated around a pool edge that can translate during off season, at the beach, rivers, lakes, or even the bathtub
How long are swim lessons?
Currently each private 1:1 lesson is 20 minutes long. Twenty minutes is an average amount of time a child’s attention span will allow the most focused learning on new or challenging skills. I schedule lessons back-to-back, so will use the last minute of each class to lean over the pool edge and share with parents how their child is doing or what they can work on at home.

Swim Lessons will begin May 2026!

Children practice:
-
Water comfort and acclimation
-
Breath control and gentle submersion cues

Reaching and holding the pool wall
-
Early paddling and kicking movements
-
Safe jumping with parent support
-
Beginning back float awareness
Parents are coached throughout the class on how to support their child and practice safely outside of lessons.
This class focuses on positive learning and confidence building, children are never forced or trained through distress.
Single Day Swim Lesson
One-time private lesson | 20-minute private lessons
A single lesson designed for quick refreshers, confidence boosts, or focused skill work.
Best for swimmers who already have some comfort in the water and need:
-
Skill reinforcement
-
Technique support
-
Confidence building
Single lessons can also be added to a week of 3-Day for that little extra practice needed. Families who cannot commit to 3-day packages find this option convenient as well and purchase several single days as needed.
2-Day Swim Package
2-day private lessons | 20-minute private lessons
A short refresher option for swimmers who already have some water familiarity and need to review safety skills and rebuild confidence at the start of the season.
Best suited for:
-
Returning swimmers
-
Skill refreshers after time away from the pool
For children who are new, hesitant, or fearful in the water, the 3-Day Package is recommended for stronger progress.
* 3-Day Swim Package *
Monday–Wednesday required | 20-minute private lessons
This is the core Swim with Heidi program and the recommended starting point for most swimmers.
Lessons are scheduled on three consecutive days so skills build naturally from one session to the next. This structure helps children stay regulated, develop trust, and gain confidence quickly.
Over the three days, swimmers:
-
Build rapport and comfort in the water
-
Learn foundational safety skills
-
Practice and reinforce movements daily
-
Gain independence and confidence
Most children leave the third day more capable, more confident, and ready to continue practicing with their families, and practice is highly encouraged after these sessions!
